Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman follows Eleanor, a socially awkward and isolated woman in Glasgow, who lives a rigid, lonely life. Her world begins to change when she and her kind coworker Raymond help an elderly man named Sammy, sparking new friendships and a sense of community. At the same time, Eleanor becomes infatuated with a musician, prompting her to pursue self-improvement.

As her life opens up, Eleanor confronts the trauma of her abusive childhood, including the manipulative voice of her mother and a devastating fire. With Raymond’s support, she begins to heal and realize the value of human connection. The novel is a heartwarming exploration of loneliness, resilience, and the transformative power of kindness and friendship.

During the Live sessions, you will have activities around a part of the book, work in pairs, and discussions.
