The Challenge
When Christiane Weidenbach, CEO of eggheads, came to us at first, she had a very specific goal, she wanted to be more confident in English when she had to communicate with clients.
She started taking lessons, and soon after, she had real practical results. She could hold her ground in meetings or while negotiating in English.
The lessons gave her the confidence she needed in different professional situations.
As a CEO leading by example, she also wanted her team to experience the transformation.
The Solution
A small group of people in the company was selected to take part in the first batch of training.
We decided to start with a Presentation and public speaking course to give them the tools to communicate more effectively and get linguistic tools and best practices to do so.
At the end of this course, they carried on with a more classic English conversation course mixing individual lessons and group sessions where they were mixed with learners outside eggheads.
The Results
The English courses had an impact on the participants because:
– they have a higher level of confidence when they speak English in meetings they attend

– they know it’s ok to make mistakes
– they act as influencers in their company to encourage learning and self-development
