Online spoken English course

Why our online English conversation lessons work:

Which online English speaking course fits you?

Speak English fluently

You probably know the words. The hard part is using them in real time, in front of someone, without freezing. That’s what our spoken English course is built for. You speak from minute one with a native teacher who keeps you talking, gently corrects you, and pushes your vocabulary toward where you want it. After a few weeks of regular practice, the freezing stops. After a few months, you stop translating in your head.

Who are online spoken English classes for?

If you can hold a basic conversation in English, you’ll get a lot out of this course. Lessons are 100% in English, that’s the point. Topics are chosen with you based on your level, your goals, and what you actually want to talk about. We work with:

All our teachers are native English speakers with HR or specialist backgrounds in fields like finance, science, education, and the arts. Meet them on the teachers page.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Spoken English Course

It depends on your starting level and how often you practice. From B1 (lower-intermediate) to confident conversational fluency typically takes 6 to 12 months of regular speaking practice, meaning two or three lessons per week plus everyday exposure (podcasts, films, reading). One lesson per week maintains your level rather than growing it.

For real progress, two 45-minute or three 30-minute lessons a week is the sweet spot. Once a week is enough if you only want to maintain your current level. Daily would be ideal if you have a deadline like a job interview or a move abroad.

We recommend a minimum lower-intermediate (A2 or B1) level. Below that, conversation lessons can frustrate you because you don’t yet have enough vocabulary to express ideas. Our Elementary Levels program is built specifically for this stage.

For most adults, more effective. You skip travel time, you can fit lessons into a lunch break, you have a written record of vocabulary in the chat, and you can swap teachers if you don’t click. The one thing in-person offers that we don’t is body language at full scale, but speaking through a screen also closely mirrors how most international work calls actually happen.

Optional but useful. We share an article from the Study Box ahead of each lesson. Read it, note vocabulary you don’t know, and you’ll get more out of the session. If you don’t have time, your teacher will adapt on the spot.

Yes. You can book different teachers for different lessons, or switch entirely. We have native teachers from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, South Africa, and Ireland, different accents, different teaching styles.

Spoken English focuses on everyday conversation: travel, social situations, current events, your personal goals. Business English uses the same teachers but anchors lessons around meetings, emails, presentations, and professional vocabulary.
